Club Updates
Becoming a paid member of Palm Beach Pack & Paddle Club means moving from participant to fully engaged insider within a dynamic outdoor community. Membership ensures you stay informed, prepared, and connected through our official club newsletter and a consistent cadence of communications, including Meeting Publicity updates prior to each gathering, P&P: The Week Ahead event previews, Twice-Monthly Event Flyers, and the monthly P&P Insider. These communications provide timely, structured insight into upcoming activities, leadership initiatives, and conservation efforts—allowing members to plan ahead and maximize participation.
Special Events
Paid membership also grants access to exclusive opportunities. Many special events and most long-distance camping trips are reserved for members, creating enriched experiences within a committed and invested group. Members are eligible to participate in our 101 instructional classes, designed to build competence and confidence in kayaking, paddle-boarding, camping, and other outdoor skills. These structured learning opportunities strengthen both individual capability and collective safety on the water and trail.
Priority Booking
Members of the Palm Beach Pack & Paddle Club receive priority booking for club events, ensuring early access to limited-capacity outings such as kayaking trips, camping weekends, guided hikes, and specialty excursions. Because many activities have participation caps for safety, permits, or environmental considerations, priority registration gives members first opportunity to secure their spot before events open more broadly. This benefit not only adds tangible value to membership, but also rewards those who actively support the club and its mission with dependable access to the adventures and experiences they enjoy most.
Partnership
Members have dedicated countless hours to conservation efforts since 1975 and participate in many conservation projects and fund-raising activities throughout the year, including participation in the Great American Cleanup and other cleanup events throughout Palm Beach County. Funds raised from events and donations benefit the club’s Conservation Fund. Each year funds are disbursed to community conservation and environmental organizations.
Community
Palm Beach Pack & Paddle Club members are recognized both within the club and throughout the broader community for their active involvement and support. Members receive name badges when they join, fostering connection, approachability, and a strong sense of belonging. Through participation in community outreach initiatives, conservation projects, and hosted public events, members serve as visible ambassadors of the club’s mission—demonstrating leadership, stewardship, and camaraderie while strengthening the club’s presence and reputation across Palm Beach County.
